Easter Fun Day 

Last Saturday we had a Fun Day at QEC to celebrate Easter and also to enjoy fellowship together.
We had lots of different activities provided like face painting, games, a bouncy castle, bubbles and many others.  





It was a blessing to have good weather so we were able to organise an easter egg hunt in the church garden. Naturally, the kids loved it and enjoyed running around, counting the eggs and finding out the little 'treasures' hidden inside!





Pastor Leon Coates also gave those present a short message about the true meaning of Easter, why we celebrate it and why it is so important for us as Christians.

The event was finished with a 'bake the cake competition', where we chose the winners for the best theme, taste, and decoration. After the winners were announced, we all got to eat the delicious cakes together with some other refreshments on the side. It was hard work! :)



It was the first such easter event we have run as a church for a long time so we want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped us to organise it! It was a busy day for all of us but so worth it! It was a joy to see so many people coming and enjoying the Fun Day with us!
